Windows 10

I have been running windows 10. I did change privacy settings turning off programs being allowed to use my microphone, camera, etc. Windows 10 automatically gives access to all programs to these devices. Windows 10 is faster, but I still liked 7 better. Also, I do not store anything in the cloud.

GWX Stopper for Windows 8.1 or Windows 7 found here: http://ultimateoutsider.com/downloads/. I run Windows 8.1 and I find it to be very simple and maybe even more so that Windows 7. To each his own though. I am sticking with Windows 8.1. Windows 10 has major privacy issues and Microsoft has already been caught lying about it.

First Citizens Bank has an alert on their screen saying that older versions will no longer work with their site one day this month because of security reasons. They say we will HAVE to have windows 10 to access online banking. I don't know what we're going to do because we've heard so much bad about it!!

It says the "Windows XP" will no longer be supported!!

UBUNTU

Burn it to a disc
Run it live (form the disc)
If you like it you can install it along with Windows, or as the sole OS

Anything is better than 8 and 8.1. Prefer 95.

Keep it simple. People do not like complicated junk.

10 was sort of jinky at first but after playing with it for a few days it's pretty cool.

Then defrag your harddrive overnight which will take several hours.

"To access this, open the Start menu and select Settings. Click the "Update & security" icon and select "Recovery." You should see a "Go back to Windows 7″ or "Go back to Windows 8.1″ option. Click the Get started button to get rid of your Windows 10 install and restore your previous Windows install."
