I'm not sure what John34 means by "no2GB". If he means that Windows 7 won't run on a system with only 2GB, he's quite wrong. Many have run Windows 7 just fine on systems with 512MB of ram. In fact Windows 7 will begin shipping on NETBOOKS, those little mini-computers that are so inexpensive. A netbook is to a "real" laptop as...hmmm, remember those little Daihatsu 3 cylinder cars they were selling about 20 years ago? I owned one of them. Cute little car, great gas mileage, but all the power of a sewing machine (in fact, that's what the engine sounded like to me). So let's say a "netbook" is to a full-power laptop as a Daihatsu is to a Hummer (only a slight exaggeration!)

Windows 7 requires a lot less horsepower then Vista! Though my Gateway laptop with an Athlon 64x2, and 4GB of ram running Vista 64 bit is quite snappy.

It will run fine with your pc. Had the 32bit W-7 running on a 900mhz system .

here are my specs: p4 2.4ghz ,2gb ram, ide 80 gb hardrive, radeon x1300 video card(only pci slots)
