Buy a new one. Its dead. Most likely the lightning got it.

My grandson's Wii console will power on for a second but will not stay on. Power cord is not visibly frayed or broken. Did the two minute reset for the ac adapter. Checked the power cord with a meter -- checks out fine. checked vents for dust build up, all clean. Removed the battery and it checks out. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you...
