The other poster was sending a PM to ****, and I figured the $ was causing the problem. The username you've posted, though, shouldn't have that problem.

When you go to send a PM, does the address bar at the top of your browser say www.gowilkes.com/cgi-bin/members.cgi, or server1.web-wilkes.com/~gowilkes/cgi-bin/members.cgi? If it says gowilkes and not web-wilkes, then my guess is that your internet provider is still showing the old IP address, and using the old username database. That's a new username, so my guess is that it's on the new server, but not the old one.

After you click to send her a PM, try changing the address bar from www.gowilkes.com to server1.web-wilkes.com/~gowilkes. Then let me know if the PM goes through.

I just noticed in a post on in cv that I wasn't the only one with this experience tonight... hmmmm. The one I tried responding to was Mommy2Be06

This is just a guess, but the only reason that could happen is if the sender has an odd character in their username. A +, &, *, (, or ) in the username might do that.

If that's not the case, let me know the username and I'll check it out.

Hey Jason - I had a pm today and when I tried to respond it said "The username was not found. Please check the spelling and try again". How did that happen?
