forget me not

My Laptop has Vista 64 bit, which everyone said I would run into compatibility issues running certain programs on - but I haven't had any issues. I've had it for about 7 months now, and honestly I don't have a single complaint. It doesn't sound like a problem with your operating system. Have you had any luck since you last posted?

The very computer I'm typing this on is running 32 bit Vista, Service Pack 2 (the latest updates). I'm switching to Windows 7 on my laptop (this is a desktop work computer) as soon as it's available.

Have you installed all of the updates for Windows Vista? Have you tried to update the CD drivers? Was the CD closed out when it was made? Is the CD drive compatible with the CD? not all drives will play all CD. Many CD-Rom drives will not read CD-RWs. Same goes if it is a DVD drive.

"Has anyone bought a new computer with Vista instead of Microsoft WIndows on it?"

I hate to break it to you, but Vista is Windows.

It's just a version "name". 1, 2, 3, 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP, Vista, 7.

Has anyone bought a new computer with Vista instead of Microsoft WIndows on it? Do you like it better than Windows? I bought a new computer a couple of months ago with Vista and hate it. If someone sends an email with a printout from Windows, I can't print it out. Also, CD's made from Windows will not download on Vista. Does anyone know how to solve these problems?
