What you have is a spy-ware hijacker. It is a program that tells you that you have virus to get you to buy a program from them to get rid of it. You can go to filehippo.com and download a spy-ware program called Malwarebytes anti Malware for free. After installing this program run a scan and remove all that it finds.

I was on my desktop this afternoon, and a message popped up saying I had been infected by a virus. I have run extra scans today and no virus was found. Could not determine where the message was coming from..at the top it just said Security Alert. I have Norton Anti Virus, Spy Bot, and Adware. Is there someone who can give me some suggestions. Computer is slow. Tried to access a file in Excel and it kept popping off . Thanks for any help.
