I recently downloaded Avira AntiVirus. It seems to work great. I got that stupid Facebook virus and that was the only thing that worked to remove it. I think I got it from download.com but you might want to google it to make sure.

If you get pop up anti virus DO NOT CLICK ON IT!!!! There are a lot of virus's disguised as anti virus software. I have had to deal w/ that too. The one that I had was AntiVirus 360 and it downloaded itself w/out me clicking on it. I like to never got that crap off. It installs hidden files that you can't find easily.

I am trying to remove viruses from my laptop I was looking for the free ones to try. I know on wxii a couple of wks back they had it on the 11:00 pm news and I didn't record it and I was wondering if someone knew of the ones they were talking about or some others. Also, Av green security center keeps sending me pop ups and I really don't know if its ok to do it...plz help me. I am in desparate need of help with this issue.
