have you tried opening program. by right clicking the icon ,... properties..., compatibility__ it gives options to run it under other Window's O.S's

I would like to find a used laptop with XP Windows at a reasonable price. Need as much memory as possible. Need it for bookkeeping and payroll. Vista sucks! It will not allow CheckBook Solutions to be loaded and there is no patch. My House Wench does payrolls for a number of clients and she winds up having to do their work, back door, so to speak. Any help out there? Thanks.
