Well, I'm not sure how to go about doing that. I do know that my Local Area Connection is disconnected. Doesn't that need to be connected? I've tried running the network set up wizard but I can't make heads or tails of what I've done. lol I'm just completely lost. All I know is that It can be done, I just dont know where to start :)

It should work perfectly fine. On your laptop, just click to Add a New Printer, then when it asks for the path, click on Browse, and go through Network Neighborhood to locate the printer on the desktop.

I have a Belkin wireless router, and when I print through the network it takes several minutes for the print to actually go through. I haven't figured out why, but I don't print from the laptop very often so I've never given it much thought.

I have a new laptop that I would like to network with my desktop. I have a router and can connect to the internet wirelessly. Now I want to be able to print from my laptop without having to connect to the printer with a cable.

Will my router that I use to connect to the internet also connect me to my desktop so that I can use the printer? or do I need another device to do this with?
