Resistive or Capacitive are the two I have tried. If you like to use anything for a stylus like a fihgernail then resistive is what you want. Capacitive needs to feel your skin. Android is the one and only technology.

I took it literally to prove a point.

As for what they actually mean, are we talking android vs iOS vs windows surface? Or are they talking about Lenovo vs hp vs dell vs whatever other manufacturers there are for windows surface products?

lol..fins is taking the question literally...i noticed that many people use the word "kinds" interchangeably with "brands"...i don't think they were talking the technology behind the screen, but rather advice on android vs ipad, vs kindle, vs, samsung, vs (who makes the windows tablet?)...


touch screen tablets are no substitute for a real computer, but again...it depends on what you need it for.

Actually there really aren't that many kinds of touch screens. The technology behind touch screens is limited to only a couple different methods. So the touch screens on all those computers are pretty much all the same
