Yes it is purple....lol I have a friend thats gonna look at it for me. So maybe they can get it fixed. I have done everthing i know to do and i give up. Thanks for the help.

just a thought my pc .. dell... came with 2 cd's one was the vista os.
the other was drivers and utilites

sorry ..i got distracted by a grilled cheese sandwich :)
you will just have to go to your pc makers website and hunt the drivers for your
specific pc you need down there will be instructions how to install them.
....
unless you have installed an aftermarket sound card then you have to go to thier site and get the drivers and instruction

im not blonde... It told me the driver for this device is not installed code 26

ok if you've checked the blonde issues

( speakers plugged in , not muted , volume up)lol
and go into the control panel under sound and check to see if its working / selected
what version of windows are you using ? pc ect,ect
....
probably the best thing to do is go to your pc makers website and search for your models drivers

try the.... windows help and support
(click start... then its in the bottom right of the menu that opens)...
troubleshooting ... sound problems :)

I just installed a new copy of windows on my computer and now i don't have any sound. I have to update my driver but i cant find one. Can any one help me please. I think i need the Multimedia Audio Controller.
