Have you seen an official FCC document or regulation reference which requires this? A swift search reveals this information http://www.zboost.com/fcc it appears that the FCC does in fact require that all wireless signal boosters be registered. It also appears that Sprint is one of the carriers who will automatically accept the registration.

I got a notice from Sprint that says the FCC requires all Sprint customers operating signal boosters that do not connect to the internet to notify them.

Can any of you explain to me why I need to tell Sprint if I'm doing something that doesn't connect to the internet?
