I believe there was a microsoft patch that included an upgrade to the root certs...have you run windows update lately?

No only my bank and Yahoo mail.So far I have not tried anything else.

The only time I've ever seen this error is when the security certificate of the website expired. If that's the case, there's nothing you can do; it's up to the website owner to renew THEIR certificate.

Do you get an error when you go to https://server1.web-wilkes.... ?

When I try to sign in to my on-line banking or Yahoo ,my computer says my security cert. are expired or not working.I have tried to install them when this happens but does no good.The warning ask if you want to proceed ,yes or no and view cert.I have did everything I can without going to other sources.I have been to aiew and followed instructions to install but it does not work.
