My settings on here are correct according to that video. The issue is that the search results are coming from Australian websites way more than American websites. I'm just curious why google doesn't " know" where I'm located and target results by US results on the first pages.

Lol, somewhere......I'm reading about google detecting the ip incorrectly and it takes a month for them to update? I'll keep reading, thanks though.

or search "default location"

click "Start" type language into the "search programs and files" search field then click
"region and language" or go to "region and language" in the control panel make sure you are set to "united states"

When searching on google or bing, an inordinate amount of the results are from Australia or the UK. Anyone have an answer for why this is, in layman's terms please.
