Keep in mind that if your computer went to the sites, it is your computer's IP address that will show up and that comes directly back to you.

You are a good aunt. All youg boys I think have a curosity about the opposite sex, but sometimes they go too far. I applaud you for checking on him. Try blocking the sites so he can not access them. It won't prevent him from going to someone else's PC, but at least he can't log on to his and view the sites. Good Luck!

If you want to save his butt or yours, then create a new profile and trash the old one and don't forget to trash the user file.

Sounds like he got busted. The history file is linked to the user profile. If it's on his computer under his profile, then someone has been looking.

It can only show up in the history or the cookies on the computer that was used to view the sites. It will not follow him to another computer. It is stored by computer not by screen name or password

I have a nephew who is looking at some nasty sites. I just want to make sure there is no other possiblities before his mom kills him. The history on his computer is full of crap and I just wanted to know if someone with his password could be looking on another computer and because its his password, the sites show up on his history on his computer. I don't think its possible but I'm trying every avenue!

O.K. here's my question...If you have a password to get on your computer and you use someone elses computer with your password does the sites that you look at show up on the history on your computer? Hope that's not to confusing!
