ps3 wireless connection help

Yeah, if you have the option, you definitely want to run your PS3 as wired to your router. Now, if you don't have that option, here's the easiest way to get it on your wireless network I have come across.

Set up wireless networking on your router

Give yourself an easy to remember but not easy to guess password (for example, I use abcde12345abc as my wireless password usually (not now though, so don't be riding by mi casa slurping up all my bandwidth) :(

Once you have the wireless part of your router set up, just go into network settings on your PS3 and scan for new networks. Yours should pop up, hopefully with a 60% or above rating.

Once you select it, you will then be asked for your password you provided in your router setup. After that, it will test to make sure it can grab an IP address from whatever is working as your DHCP server (usually built into the router itself), and try to get out to the internet. As long as you get checkmarks beside both, you're good to go.

You should have no problem setting up wifi router behind your modem.
Your modem should connect to the routers uplink port.
Then connect your pc to the one of the switch ports.
I would recommend Wiring the ps3 to the router, it is almost always a better and faster connection

Depended on you OS
Wait till the internet is accessible
