BlueRidgeGuy is right.. Depending on the purpose of the printer will determine what kind to buy. The amount of printing you do will determine if you should by a laser or inkjet. If you are going to do a massive amount of printer, an inkjet will eat you our of house and home.

Just a follow-up on my previous post on re-manufactured cartridges for my HP, I haven't noticed any problems in reduced quality over the HP brand, so it's significant savings.. Go to Ingrabber.com for big savings on all ink cartridges.

In my experience I have learned not to buy any printer made by Canon or Lexmark. Ink for Kodak printers is the cheapest and of the best quality. For durability, invest in either a Kodak or HP printer.

Got a Cannon Super G3. Scan, fax, printer. It work great and really fast.

I have an HP PSC 1210V. It's a printer, scanner and copier all in one. Prints very nice full color photos and regular documents, and will make copies and scan documents over to the PC. My only problem is the cost of the ink cartridges. It's about $65 for a combo black and color pack. I just ordered a re-manufactured black and color for about $35, so we'll see how they work.

I have a kodak all my life and for me there the best and great wireless the all-in-one 2100 serias and this one for 2 years and still working like new

Best if you want quality is to look at business class printer or all-in-ones. Business class are made to print high volumes so the ink capacity is greater.
I bought a business class Brother all-in-one that can print/scan up to 11x17, that was 5 years ago. It is still going strong. I replace the ink about once a year. I use the refill kits which cuts the cost of the ink as well.

My experience. NEVER by a Cannon. Just look at all the Cannon ink on the shelves at Goodwill....every one's Cannon tore up and they were stuck with their ink. Do not buy a Kodak. My printhead did not last a year, but they are in the process of sending a new printhead. Kodak is too complicated. Best printer I ever had was an HP from Walmart. Never pay for an extended warranty. Walmart will not honor it, waste of money. Just buy a cheap HP and it will last a long time. Don't get anything you do not plan to use. If you do not need a fax do not get one. Keep it simple...less to tear up or to understand how to operate. Buy ink where it is cheapest. Staples is less than Walmart.

Anyone have any recommendations on which all-in-one printer is the best to buy? I have looked at a few but it seems that the cheaper the printer the more the ink cost. Also, where have you had the best luck purchasing a printer? Thanks!
