Try some of the programs like spybot, ccleaner, AVG antivirus,
Avast Antivirus, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. It sound like a hijack/adware to me, and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware might take care of it for you. You can get them from www.download.com

my moms laptop has a personal security program keep popping up on her computer, and it's not letting her go on any sites when she goes online, she tried removing it but it won't let her it ask for a code and tells her to turn her firewall off, and if you go to it then it's asking her to buy it, can someone help us with this, thanks so much
