Go to malwarebytes.org and download the free version. Follow the install instructions and perform a quick scan. After Scan, click remove all.

GONE.

Please do not do a "system restore". Doing so will not remove most viruses, and will only remove any new programs or hardware that you've installed since the last backup.

Here is a good tutorial on removing Cyber Security:

I followed instructions to BRG program to download. I was able to download, but the "Cyber Security" thing will not let me open the download. I have been trying for the last couple of hours. The red "Cyber Security" warning page keeps popping up and will not allow me to go past that. Now what?
This is the second full day that this has consumed my laptop. It actually started night before last when someone sent me a message from facebook and when I clicked on the link, I have had this crap ever since.
Any suggestions as to what I can do now?

Guys, tell me exactly what to do, or where to take it to in order to resolve the problem, PLEASE! How does this happen. The particular laptop is almost new. How did I get a worm?

Also, the sooner you try and restore the better. This program will stop the restore function before long. Also backup all pictures and music as soon as possible. Your usb drives will also stop working.

This is a worm. The only way you will get rid of this for sure is to restore you computer. It is a program that has put that in your system in order to try to make you buy a program from them to get it out. You might get lucky and be able to restore your computer back a few days.

Something called "Cyber Security" has taken over my laptop. It blocks every web page I try to open. When I log on, the Cyber Security thing takes over, and I cannot do anything. ( I am using a different laptop to even type this). Whatever this thing is. it will not allow me to do anything online. Anyone got any idea what I can do to get rid of it, and how did it get on here in the first place? Thanks for any help!
