Tight is probably right. As I read over that I realized 'in line' would put the picture in the middle of the line of text and that's probably not what you wanted, and what I was trying (and failing!) to describe how NOT to do.

In class we were advised to right click on the picture, and choose "tight" for the text wrap.

If you haven't already turned this assignment in, you can right click on the pictures or use the edit picture menu to select what kind of text wrapping you have. Instead of having just a huge chunk of white space beside your picture you can make your text flow beside it by choosing 'in line' rather than square or before or after.

Good Luck!

Thanks. I thought that's what I was supposed to do.

Just go to Insert on the top menu and find "Picture", then select the "picture from file" and browse to your thumbdrive. If you want the text to be between the pictures: type a sentence hit the enter key, insert the picture and hit the enter key again and finish typing, hope that helps.

OK, I have an assignment, where I have been doing an observation of a child. The final product that I have to turn in is a documentation that includes pictures. I have the pictures stored on my flash drive, and I know how to put the pictures on a power point presentation. Do I use the same method to put them in my paper, and how do I get the text in the document to wrap around the pictures, so that my final product looks like a page in a text book?
