Is there a way to turn off caller ID and call waiting on your Charter phone service as needed? I am hopefully going to do some work from home but my company requires that you have a phone line without features such as caller id and call waiting. I'd rather not get another line in the house unless i have to. We never use our home phone anyway so it would be easy to use it to work at home if I could turn off these features during work hours. I tried calling Charter and couldn't understand the person I was trying to talk to so I thought I'd give it a try on here before calling and holding for another hour hoping to get an answer.
