The modem and router are color coded. Yellow to Yellow Hook them together
Now look on the back of both the modem and the router
Both have very tiny buttons on the back. About the size of a pen head Find them
First use a pen to push and hold the button on the back of the router in and hold it in for 20 seconds. Repeat process for the modem.
wait 1 min
Check PC to see if wifi is connected

The setting should stay the same, so all you need to do is plug your Internet modem into your router. If you have a computer near it without wifi, then you plug a cable from the router to your computer.

Usually the login key is on a sticker on the bottom of your router. Your laptop should automatically detect your router once it's connected to the modem.
