Access your email thru the internet not outlook and set it to forward a copy to an internet email address that you have or setup one such as googles and have it to auto archive it. then if you think you are having a problem on your pc or your pc crashes and burns, no worries as all your emails are archived on the internet.(plus you can pull old emails from anywhere in the world)

Spyguy, I just checked and the PM is definitely in your account. I'm not sure why you wouldn't be seeing it, unless your using Internet Explorer 7.0 (which is very buggy).

The one that you did receive, was it a very large email?

Sent you a regular message thru charter mail.
I have deleted AVG and this had no effect.
Any ideas on getting this dang thing fixed,,,it's costing me bucks for lost e-mail from clients

Spyguy, I sent you a PM. I tried to email, but I'm sure that it didn't go through.

My best guess is that your AVG program is what's causing the problem. Try suspending it (or uninstalling it completely) and see if that helps.

Am using outlook mail. At times when I click send and receive mail after just opening outlook I have this problem of deleting messages.

For example today, I clicked send and receive messages after opening outlook mail and I see in the lower right corner of outlook that 3 messages are being received. After outlook finished this task,,only 1 message appeared. The other two were apparently deleted. Also I have business contacts that have sent mail recently but I have not received their mail.
For some reason outlook is deleting some messages and some not. I have taken off "MailWasher" and am only running AVG virus protection.
