If you want Open Office, it's a great free office suite. PC World said that the latest version is actually better than Microsoft Office.

We have Open Office on a couple of our systems. I love it. But my wife, who uses Microsoft Office at work all day, isn't a fan.

If you careate documents for others, be sure to save them in the Microsoft Word (.doc) format, rather than the proprietary Open Office format, which others might not be able to open.

I know I have been given info from you guys about this but can you send me a link to a version that lets you open microsoft word and excel? I am needing to print some info on a flash drive but I don't have anything to open it with on this old pc. Thanks for the help!
