lol i guess they want to be able to charge 100% more for the same cord that you can get alot cheaper, don't you just love the way big companies stick it to us?

It said that Dell wants to sell the AC adapter so no other one will work. Figures. :?

Read carefully.

I have a Dell inspiron 6000.The cord frayed and stopped working so I went and bought a universal one. It works,but every time I power on it says power source not recognized and I have to hit F1. It also is not charging the battery at all. If I unplug the cord it instantly shuts off and makes this electric kindof sizzling sound. LOL! Anything I can do to make the computer recognize it?
