DON'T REALLY THINK IT WAS MY INTERNET CONNECTION BECAUSE i HAVE HIGH SPEED, MAYBE i JUST DIDN'T INSTALL IT RIGHT BUT ANYWAY I DID NOT LIKE THIS PRODUCT AND IT DID NOT PROPERLY WORK FOR ME.

I know of several people who are using this and they love it. you are the only that i have heard complain.

WXII did a piece on Magic Jack and found it worked very well. In fact, they were skeptical of it in the beginning but found it to be a great product. I haven't tried it, but I haven't heard any negatives until your post.

Funny you posted this, my hubby just installed ours a few days ago using our DSL . It works and sounds fine so far. Maybe your internet connection isn't compatible. Unfortuntately we had to select a VA number as there are no NC numbers yet. We are just using that particular line for outgoing calls and have kept the three other lines with our regular service.

Hello everyone - I usually don't post anything on here but I just wanted to warn everyone about a rip off. Someone I know had mentioned to me that they had read a post about a phone service called Magic Jack. Well let me tell you there is no magic about this piece of sh**!!! the website made this product out to be the most wonderful thing ever invented. I guess it would be fine if the person that is on the other end of the phone could actually hear what you were trying to tell them. I have had this product for almost two weeks and have spent an overwhelming amount of time trying to get a response from the customer service people, finally today I recieved an email back telling me how to return the stupid thing. So beware people don't waste your money!
