First off, Hi Chris87, I am a fellow PC Technician. I just wanted to write you for being so kind and cordial on here to this lady. It is important that we as PC Techs treat the elderly with respect and take great care of them. I just wanted to let you know that and congratulate you on a job well done.

I take it you went to the Community College and took the CIT Program of study. I took the Network Admin and Support Program and I have started my own PC Tech Business called Quality PC Solutions of Wilkes. I am not out in the public with my name quite yet but I have roughly 15 clients who need my service on a very loose regular schedule.

Also, It outrages me mam as a professional and on a personal & moral level that Staples intended on charging you $150.00 an Hour. This is outrageous. I am absolutely astounded @ how they have treated you. That is an outrageous amount for PC Tech Service. Maybe 10 Years ago that would have been considered a decent price point but that is absolutely uncalled for.

I will be going down to my local staples and talking with the manager about lowering there prices on PC Tech work. If they refuse I will gladly rip up my rewards card and take my business elsewhere. I purchase items from staples regular and it makes me angry to no end that they are trying to charge customers this price. I highly doubt that they were not trying to take advantage of you.

In Addition, I hope you don't mind me following up on this. I give you my word that I will only mention the situation in general with absolutely no specifics whatsoever. If you ever want labor performed that is outside of Chris87 scope of services, please feel free to call me directly @ 336-566-2048.

If you need any service performed inside of Chris87's scope, out of respect for him I would highly suggest that you go to him for the labor you request being he has worked with you before. I do not interfere with other people's cliental unless that person is irresponsible and treats there clients wrongly. This of course is the opposite situation, I am happy to say. I will not reveal my rates until you call me in respect to Chris87.

Furthermore, I will not by any means cold call anyone regardless because I do not believe in that. It is my personal policy that the client has to make the first initial contact and provide there contact information for service to be performed. I do not believe in harassing people. Please just keep this in the back of your mind. For Easier reading my contact info is written below incase you ever want to request my services.

Again thank you chris87 for treating her right. There is no hidden agenda here and I want you to know I am writing this out of my respect for the elderly. I was raised to always look after my elders. As a Christian it is my duty to be proactive in this manner. I mean no disrespect you sir. Wishing you and your business venture the best.

I am a senior citizen...not quite a Luddite but close. Until recently I had a young man who helped me with technical issues (not really advanced stuff but beyond me) here at home. Well, Lowe's took care of that. I used tech support from Staples for an issue but I really cannot afford $150.00 an hour. So I am looking for a responsible young person, tech savy who might be willing to help me out a couple of times a year.

Two desktops, hard wired.

Laptop, netbook and Kindle all on wireless.

Wireless printer which is giving me fits!

I am in the Roaring River area, $50-75 an hour.
