oh, sign on to gowilkes on your pc . then sgin off of gowilkes and remove the check on auto sign on. then you can sign ongowilkes as dr fred.

reload your software. you will lose all your stored files like pictures and such but it will give you the option to use another name. most operating systems will let you change it too. i know people who can do it for you but if i told my name on here someone might shoot me. lol

Everytime I clean my hard drive with like disk clean up or clean my cookies I think is what it is called in internet options I have to log on again. Maybe you could try that and see if you have to log back on.

Whoa guys, you really are confusing me.

Dr. Fred if you are logged onto a puter you don't normally use, can't you go to GW and sign on as usual where it says Guest? I often use my sons computer and I have no problem signing on my name...geesh, now I'm sounding confused again.ARRRGGG...LOL.

There is just some things I can't explain unless I talk with my hands...and this is one of them

Sorry I wasn't clear on what I was asking. My daughter gave me her old computer and when I got it up and running, I logged into GoWilkes as Doctor Fred.
When I finally got my internet back, on my old computer,my daughter logged into GoWilkes as Roadrunner Taxi Service. I would like to change Roadrunner on my computer to Doctor Fred. Gosh, I almost confused myself...lol...sorry...

I think he means he is using two different puters and when he logs on to GoWilkes the puter automatically logs him on he wants to log on with his name from both puters.

Actually, if you are talking about your user name, and you are running Windows XP, then I can help you change your name. Is this what you are talking about...the user account when you sign onto the puter?

Are you talking about your computer user name and not GoWilkes? If you are, I think you will have to call your internet provider and ask them to change it because when you sign up for internet, they enter it or have directions to enter.

Are you talking about your User account to sign on the puter, or changing your screen name here on GW. Sorry, but a bit confused here.

OK, I really need to know how I can change my user name on this computer so that it is the same as my other. I go by Doctor Fred there...
