Hi, technology has surpassed me. I guess that qualifies me as old. Oh well, it is what it is. I bought a DVDR/CD machine that is supposed to be able to dub off VHS tapes onto disks, record one channel while you watch another (I can't get it to record the channel I'm watching even!). I'm supposed to be able to set a timer, too, so it will start recording at the right time even when I'm not there. Well, I can't get it to do any of that stuff. I don't know how to hook it up (those "easy directions" lie), don't know how to use it. I need someone to come to my house, show how it's supposed to hooked up and teach me how to use it. Please HELP!!
