Thanks. I think I'm going to uninstall this program because today it is telling me I have 209 more errors. After I get all my pictures off of my computor I think I will use my disk and reformat the whole think. If I do this will I lose everything I have on Microsoft Works?

NO
Backup your registry first.
Never all at ones.
And only if you can fix what it does back to the way it was.
download CCleaner first and let it clean it up first it will not mess it up.
7208 errors is a lot to fix at one time.
If you said to fix all you may need a repairman to fix it now.
if so ask B.R.G. or me if we can fix it for you .If you can get back here after you hit
"FIX IT"
GOOD LUCK

I was tryin to download Avast free virus and spyware and clicked on the wrong dowload buuton. It installed MemTurbo - PC Optimizer. When this finished it said I had 7208 errors. 144 Active X and Com 2 Applications path 10 File types 12 History list 9 Shared files 29 Shortcuts 2018 Software 7 Start Menu 4799 Deep Scan 178 Current User 3 Registry tweaks
Should I hit the fix errors button or not.

CCleaner is a good software to run but will not fix all your reg. or clean everything.
You have to pay to get the good stuff. Advanced System Optimizer has a good free software that does 20 times
better than CC but the pay for software of A.S.O. does 20 times better than the free one.Not to say that A.S.O. does it all it does not fix everything.
Registry Cleaner 1.5 is free and does better than My clean PC
"My clean PC" is Cyber Defender and is not worth it.
And for "My clean PC" ad the next time you get the blue screen of death try to get on line and have them fix it like the AD says

Like BRG, I use CCleaner, it does a good job... and it's free, can't beat the price. They update it often and it has a registry cleaner in it too. Just watch during installation and uncheck the Yahoo toolbar option, if you don't want it installed. A good source with ratings and downloads of free utilities, and some pay ones is: http://download.cnet.com/wi...contentNav

I have no clue.
But why would you want to pay for something when there are so many free options available?
Me, I take the free options.

Has anyone ever used the "My clean pc" website they advertize on tv? If you have, was it worth the money and is it trustworthy?
