I've never had an issue adding music I've gotten from Limewire to my Ipod.

I would stick with an MP3 player. We have a Sony Walkman and have NEVER had an issue with it. I HATE IPOD because you have to use Apple software, such as Itunes. Normally you have to go through **** to put music you have downloaded from other "free" sites on it. With Sony, you just plug it in and its easy as pie.

They are the same when it comes to quality you're just gonna pay a lot more for an ipod. At Walmart they had an 8gb mp3 player for like $65 compared to $150 or more for an ipod. You can. Get mp3 players cheaper than that depending on the storage. I wouldn't go any lower than a 4gb if I were you.

iPOD is just brand name. MP3 players work the same and serve the same purpose, just a lot cheaper. I have an RCA MP3 player I bought 3 years ago, 2G and it holds well over 400 songs. Still works as good as when I bought it, never had a problem with it.
