That worked! I wonder what in the world had caused it to start doing that? Thank you for your help.

If it works everywhere else, then the problem is software related. Unfortunately, I'm not too familiar with Windows 7.
Are you using Internet Explorer? If so, resetting it might help:
Reset Internet Explorer: · Open Internet Explorer · Click Tools · Click Internet Options (you can also access Internet Options from the Control Panel, you may have to switch view fromCategories to Icons) · Click the Advanced tab · Click Reset… · Click Reset · Click Close · Click OK · Click OK · Close Internet Explorer · Open Internet Explorer

For example I just clicked on the favorites button...that works and the web slice gallery tool button and that worked. It's weird. I don't know why in the world it won't work to hit the home button or refresh.

Does the left-click button work anywhere else? For example, can you use it to highlight text?
My first guess is that the left button is physically stuck. You might be able to fix it by tapping on it several times, or blowing underneath it.
If that doesn't work, then are you using Windows XP? If so, go to Start > Control Panel, and click on "Mouse". You might have a setting here that is either disabling, or simply slowing down, your left click.

Whenever I left click on the home button, backpace button, forward button or refresh button nothing happens. I have to manually click the backspace arrow to backspace or hit f5 to refresh. What can I do to make clicking work?
