but your already paying $19.95 for skybest dial up according to their website.
so if you can switch to embarq you should.
or bite the bullet and pay skybest the extra $24.00 a month for their dsl.
mom's just gotta figure out which she has more of ... time ..or .. money :(

probably not unless you sign up for their dsl (+$20.00 @ month )
and its not available every where .
dial up is just painfully slow 52 kbps at best

dial-up is slow not much you can do about it .
download and run ... adaware or super anti- spyware.. they might help a little (very little)
adding extra memory wont help with the download speed either
its pretty much live with it or pay the $$ for dsl ,cable or satelite internet

My mom has a pc which is dial-up with skybest. It is really slow on receiving emails and slower if they have a picture attached. Anything I can do to speed it up? Thanks for all your replies, I read them all.
