ok thanks guys, I will go ahead and stick with it, I haven't had any problems yet, I just wanted to see if there was something better. Thanks for the help.

there are several good antivirus programs out there but most of the "free ones" do not offer complete protection (antivirus, spyware, malware,network, and spam) they also may have to be updated manually
sometime you get what you pay for

personally I have used AVG for over a year now, no problems what so ever.

well, paying for an antivirus like mcafee just seems like a waist to me, sure, it's probably a good antivirus, but why pay for something that you can get for free by downloading various other antivirus progs with no cost.

Mcafee in my opinion the best there is, I have been using it for over 20 yrs and using it to correct problems the other antivirus miss. buy the on line version for 39.95 and it will update at least one a week, more often if there is virus activity in your zip code, you can also down load as many times as you need to

Can anyone tell me if McAfee is a good anitvirus? I have been using it for a bout a year and My subscription is almost over and wondering if i should renew it or look into a different one.
