thank you for being patient and not abusive... but I do not see an option to remove any pass word after checking through several screens under user accts. why can't it ever be that simple?
however I reach a place I cannot pass when a warning comes up that tells me "client services for netware has disabled the welcome screen and fast user switching. To restore these features you must uninstall client services for netware." If I did this it was not intended... and I'm not sure whether it is related to my problem here. thanks again for your patience.

just like satan said... click start---->control panal----> user accounts---->click REMOVE PASSWORD

get a new computer... lol actually most of the time the delay happens when you have to much junk on your computer like an animated background or a new program that is large

open the control panel... user accounts ..it gives options to change and remove passwords.

apparently I'm too stupid to follow instructions... still cannot get rid of this pesky sign in/ log on at start up. any more ideas out there for the slow minded? thanks

you have set a log in password http://support.microsoft.co... for xp just google manage password' s or you can log out while your logged on and switch accounts

hello,
suddenly everytime I start my laptop I have to log in. when I hit the enter key it contunues to load successfully. This is something I have recently caused myself... do not know what I did but this stupid delay frustrates me. can someone please tell me how to undo this?
