It could be a couple of things, but the most likely problem is that it's simply full. There's a limit to the number of users.

What happens when you do try to log in? Does the window open that attempts to log you in? If not, then you may have a pop-up blocker that's stopping it.

Are you logging in with this username, or another one? The chat room doesn't like non-alphanumeric characters, so that could also be a problem.
