Check your network cable and see if it is loose. Sometimes the little tab doesn't hold the plug in tight enough.

Probably a windows issue. When it says it's lost can you surf the web? I have a PC that says there is no network connection, yet it surfs the web fine. I just dont worry about it :)

Why does my computer say local connection is lost it just does it every so often but i'm on dsl can anyone explain this.
