Ok, here's the thing.

On the Router, you need to plug it straight into one laptop so you can define the IP address, the spectrum which it will connect to the other devices, before you can just start using it.

Once you get the right security set up (I would suggest to go wtih WEP), then set up the wireless card wtih the same, and you'll connect as long as there isn't anything ruining the signal, like a cordless phone and such.

I use the same thing, with 2 desktops and 3 laptops.
Is everything done correctly, b/c I switched my router from one computer to another and it picked it up just fine.
I did have to install the software again on the new comp.
Maybe that is your problem?

Did you run the software on that computer?
Is that computer using the wireless or is it plugged into the router?

Help please! I just installed a wireless g card in my computer and got a linksys wireless g router. I installed the router on anothers computer, but my other computer will not detect the network. What can I do?
