The problem with Morpheus (the free version) is that it comes bundled with advertising - read spyware and pop-ups.

In the end it all depends on what you feel like dealing with and what interface you are comfortable with. One thing to keep in mind is that the P2P world evolves on a daily basis and there is always something new that comes out or is in the pipe.

Right now I use torrentspy.com - the one issue with that though is because of the RIAA and MPAA they block IP addresses from the US so you have to use a proxy so it appears you aren't from the US.

I also like thepiratebay.org and mininova.org in that order.

I personally prefer the ease that uTorrent operates at. In regards to the spyware and stuff...

I recently stumbled across some excellent spyware removal software that picked up items that Ad-aware and some others would not get. The best part...free for home use.

You may have a virus or spyware. Save your music and run an up to date spyware program and virus program. Uninstall Limewire then reinstall after running virus and spyware programs if it does not help. Spyware and viruses can be tricky little devils that are not recognized. Good luck hope it helps!!

RIAA (Recording Industry of America) + Limewire + uTorrent + ANY P2P utility = Scare tactics

I have NEVER read of any lawsuit from the RIAA that has resulted in ANYONE going to jail because of downloading music. The back***wards music industry like to threaten and beat it's chest but it is all for show.

Yes people do get caught and they do get fined but jail? No. People that get stupid are the ones that get caught...like the people who share 50+ GB of music and files.

As I've said before...the record industry should have embraced the technology when Napster appeared on the scene instead of trying to sue it into oblivion. The record industry made their bed and now they can sleep in it.

I was having the same problems with LiveWire not long ago, but my firewall was causing me not to be able to download. I kept getting the message that I was not connected to the network. Is that what you've been getting? Check your firewall.

Be careful though, I have also picked up a few bad virus' from LiveWire too.

Here is a site that has manuals and links to different P2P sites.

I used uTorrent and like it a whole lot better than Limewire as I don't end up with the incompletes, RIAA fake files that start playing and then have static mixed in, or files that are not what they say.
