Did you remember to take the tabs off the cartridge first before installing? I have actually done this without realizing it!

I checked that as well and it is set correctly - not as b/w only. Any other ides out there?

some printers have an option in the settings / tools/ preferences to print in b/w only
you may have selected it

I have a Lexmark X83 that will print in black but not color. I replaced the cartridge twice to no avail. Anyone have any ideas for me?
