Go find a friend that has an air compressor with a water/oil trap on it. Set the regulator at around 100 PSI, put the blower nozzle on, and clean out the cookie crumbs/ashes/dead skin/hair/whatever. You dont want to know whats in there, just blow it out. No compressor? Buy a can of air at Walmart or Staples, and get to blowin.

It happens to everybody occasionally. There's a chance that it's just worn out, but I doubt it.

Go to your laptop manufactures page, go to the downloads section and try to find NEW or UPDATED drivers for your point device. Follow the instructions and download the drivers and see if that doesn't help. Some times drivers get corrupted. So it may just need to have them reinstalled.

The pointer on my laptop just scrolls itself all the way down the screen to the start button and i can't get it to do anything else. Anyone have any clue what to do? I plugged a mouse into it a while back and that stopped it for a while, but it is doing it again and will not stop
