I am not experienced with the cloud. I will spend some figuring it out. I have a few cloud options available.

Oh, you can backup with iTunes on your laptop, but the cloud is the best option. It works great and when you restore or get a new one, it will resynch perfectly

I have tried investigating a chronic problem. Since I updated my operating system recently, my iPad crashes often. Sometimes it disconnects from the wifi and sometimes it just shuts down entirely

Is there some way to backup my iPad? Am I forced to use the cloud? Can I do it thru iTunes to my laptop? If I synch to my laptop, is that good enough?

I need to do this before I start fiddling around with my iPad and risk losing stuff.
