I didn't read all the response but know there was an issue with the last Apple update operating system. Go back and update back to your old one and you should be fine!

Go to settings, general, and clic on update. The iPad will search and come up with the small 9.01 update. Hope it helps.

thanks for all the chatter on this. to start with, the iPad was a gift so was never a waste of my money. i have never experienced any problems with it until this last update. the crashing is beyond an inconvenience.

yes, i updated to 9.0 and have seen nothing about 9.1 for the fixes. i will take a look for that.

as i am on my laptop now, life is good again.

Elmo you're way too smart to be using iOS. Go to Walmart and get you a $50 Android tablet. Set up your Google account and never look back.

Did you update to iOS 9.0 or to 9.01? If you updated to the previous release (8.something), that was a bad update. If you only updated to 9.0, install the small 9.01 update also. It's only a 25 mb update but it has some bug fixes to 9.0.

There's 2 types of people in this world. Those who use Apple products and those who wish they did.

Anything with the letter I in front of it is crap.

I understand Basking. I also wore Steve Jobs glasses in the 90's and paid AOL $25 a month for dial up. I use a standard micro usb and Google Earth now.

You tinker with your toys. I'll stick with products that work.

Basking thinks he needs to call a plumber when he takes a bath and is stuck in early 90's. Only people with no common sense still use Apple.

Oh, and want your credit card info stolen? Use it on the play store.

Sorry, you just described iTunes and iCloud.

You may use both, but clearly don't use them well. If you did, you would figure out that android is still half baked and worse than Apple about being broken in updates. Especially in those cheap crappy tablets. There's a reason that iPad is still the standard that everything else is compared to

Step into the future Elmo Cleghorn. You can buy 4 or 5 Android tablets for what you paid for that ipad and all your apps would be awaiting your download at the Play Store and all your wi-fi passwords and home screen settings as well. I use both but Android is the one.

It's easy. Sign up for free, go into settings and turn on backup. If you need more than the minimum space, you can upgrade for $.99 a month.
