I live in traphill to. Has your internet been dropping off pretty bad? Ive called them NUMEROUS times the past 2 months and they keep saying "Your trying to use more bandwidth than what's provided" LOL What a joke. I cant use more than what i pay for. So i dk. Im about to cancel my service bc they want send anyone out to fix it

I had satellite internet for years, when it was the only broadband option in my neighborhood. I would recommend it ONLY if no other broadband options exist. It is jarringly slower than cable or dsl, requires a substantial investment up-front in gear, and is quite a bit more expensive month-to-month.

Pay more, get less. That's satellite internet in a nutshell!

Charter serves Traphill, but not all of it. Call and get them to do a service check on it.

I think it depends on how far you are from the main road. Satellite might be a better one.

I use century link also. Wireless. Works pretty good.

Doesn't Charter serve Traphill? Some form of dialup is available most anywhere, but YOU DO NOT WANT DIALUP if there is any broadband alternative!

Wilkes Telecommunications is running fiberoptic cable across the county, which has the potential to bring the fastest internet service there is!

My friend who lives in Traphill has AOL.
