Be careful about the satellite internet, I tried that because I was tired of embarq being down 3 days a week, it sucked, and costed 200. after all said and done. service level is NOT gauranteed and you have to pay for the equipment, and when returned you pay shipping, restocking, etc. I ended up with time warner cable and am happy so far.

Embarq DSL internet also but not sure how far out it goes.

YOu could get Wildblue which comes in through a satellite attached to your house (like a TV dish) I think Big A TV instals them. Basic service used to costs us $49.95 a month, but we upgraded and now pay $89.95 per month. Go to their website and check it out.

I live on Dehart Rd. and I have internet through cable and its great.

Is there a DSL provider besides Wilkes.net in the Dehart area?
