Internet Provider Question

I just know I saw something about $19.99 per month internet advertised at the AT&T store in Wilkesboro where I buy minutes for my cellphone--I'll have to check it out. You can get better deals for your home phone than for internet. Charter advertises up to 30mbps speed but how fast do you really think it averages? How much speed do you need to watch YouTube videos, for instance? Charter does seem to be really fast.

Walmart's internet uses a third party 3g mobile hotspot. I'm guessing http://www.internet-go.com/ is what you're referring to when you say Walmart internet? Mobile hotspots use cell phone towers signal to give you data connection similiar to what your cellphone does when you browse the internet on it. From looking at it you get 4GB/month usage for $45/month. There are also other refill options which are available here
-> http://support.internet-go....ll-options . I would look at the coverage map and see if you'll get good coverage with it and also what towers it will be using.

When you refer to AT&T are you referring to their U-verse package?

My Charter internet provider just increased my rates after being with them a year--no surprise. But I think their rates were already expensive before this and now that they have started their increase it will be increase after increase! The thing is I lost my job and I really feel that increase more than the person that has a job. I am thinking I will have to go with another provider like Walmart' or AT&T which have cheaper internet ($19.99 I believe). I also have Charter phone but it is $19.99 per month which is reasonable. I would like to find out other people's experience with Walmart internet or AT&T internet $19.99 service--how fast is the internet compared with Charter and is it difficult to set up at home--I don't know anything about how to do this. I would like to still have internet service but I don't see myself paying $50 every month for internet when money is so tight. Thanks for any help you can give me!
