I use it for work, but that's all. I travel a lot, so internet on the phone helps me keep up with email, and when I'm in a new area I might use GoWilkes to find a restaurant. That's about it.
If the company didn't pay for it for me, there's no way I'd pay for it myself.

Gonna increase your bill by about 30 bucks a month Do you have internet at home and work.? Decide for youself if 720 bucks over the next two years is worth it. Plus, the cost of the device. If you are in a poor reception area, it's worthless. If you have wifi in your home and workplace, your internet should work fine there.

I want to check my mail, and just play with it I guess. My son has it (he has Sprint) on his and he uses the GPS and weather apps. I'm not technically smart, but thought it would come in handy when needed.

Carolina West is very limited on bandwidth. Busy times of the day you cannot even access your email. Until they progress past the waxed strings and tin cans it ain't going to get much better. When ou get away from Mickey Mouse Wireless, internet is very good.
