As yourneighbor mentioned, it seems a lot of people fixed this problem by tweaking the date and time settings.

Since you asked about "another type of internet thing", I'd suggest Firefox. It tends to be faster and more secure than Internet Explorer.

Lately, everytime I go to ANY website, this annoying message pops up saying the websites security certificate has errors. This would be even at my banks online website. Is there anything that is causing this or does anyone have a suggestion as to another type of internet thing (Sorry) that is like explorer to use?
