no im not sure what happened to my post but here it is again "Make sure you didn’t accidentally turn off your wireless card. Check your Manuel for information for turning your card on and off. It should be a button or switch some where on your pc and it usually has a light close to it that will possibly be orange (meaning off) ProTech Networks 336 262 2945" http://www.pro-tech.5u.com

That wireless switch is definitely the first place I tell people to look. 3 times I had a relative call me and all 3 times an elbow or hand had accidentally hit it on the front of the laptop. Most of mine glow blue when wireless is "on"; orange when "off".

I have a new Toshiba laptop. I used it yesterday the first time and it worked fine. I connected to our wireless router and was on the internet. I used it again and it connected by itself. I couldn't make the back up recovery cds because I needed blank DVDs and only had blank CDs. I turned it on today and the wireless bars on the bottom right hand never showed up. I tried hitting explorer icon and nothing would come up, no windows or anything. I cut it off and on several times and it still never connected. When I go to internet options and click on wireless connections nothing comes up. I will call Toshiba tommorrow but I thought maybe someone could help me before then. This is very frustrating. I guess I should have made the recovery DVD's before I even used it. I am on another computer now.
