How to burn CD's?

Thats a good start, but if his CD players support mp3 files, he can fit hundreds and hundreds of them (depending on the bitrate) on a single CD. BUT - some CD players that do support mp3 files only support up to 100 in a single directory, or require them all to be in the root folder, or don't support certain characters in the filenames, etc...

If converting to CD audio, remember that you can only fit 74-80 minutes of audio, regardless of the filesize (media player will alert you if you are oversize)

If you want to play these on a home stereo and you have a DVD player attached to it, you can usually burn the mp3's to a DVD also, and fit nearly 1000 cd quality mp3's on it - but it won't play in the car.

If all you are wanting to do is make an audio CD out of some mp3s, you can use your Windows Media Player to do that. It's going to be slower than a lot of programs out there, and you have to fine tune the settings, but that should get you started.

What type of data are you want to put on the CD's? And what format do you want it to be on after it's on the CD?

In other words, did you download a bunch of .mp3's that you now want to listen to on the cd player in the car? Or did you download a movie that you want to watch on the TV?

We need to know the file types (filename extensions would be fine) of the data you downloaded, and what you plan to do with them. Some things might need a quick conversion.

I come from old school where computers are concerned and not sure exactly how to go about burning a CD from a website. Does not have to be video, can be only audio. Bought some CD-R's with sleeves.
